According to Uttarakhand Economic Survey 2024-25, what was the projected growth rate of the Gross State Domestic Product (at constant prices) of Uttarakhand in 2024-25?
Correct: C, 6.61%. The Survey prints the state row beside the national one. It records 7.83 per cent growth for 2023-24 on provisional estimates, and says the 2024-25 growth rate is likely to be 6.61%. What to carry away is the price basis, not the digit: "at constant prices" is the inflation-stripped, real number. The same Survey, for the same year at current prices, shows GSDP rising from ₹332.99 thousand crore to about ₹378.24 thousand crore: a rise of 13.59 per cent.
The Survey's state figure for 2024-25 is 6.61 per cent, and 6.31 is that number with its middle digit altered. If you were reaching for the all-India line printed alongside the state line in the same chapter, the Survey gives 6.4 per cent as India's likely growth for 2024-25, against 8.2 per cent in 2023-24.
For 2024-25 the Survey's real growth figure is 6.61 per cent, so this overstates the projected year. A higher state number does sit in the same chapter, but it belongs to the year before: 7.83 per cent, Uttarakhand's 2023-24 growth on provisional estimates. Pinning a rate to its year is half of what this question asks.

The correct option on every one of the 296 solved UKPSC questions is taken from the answer key published by Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, not from our reading of the question. That key is provisional: the commission invites objections before issuing a final key, and the paper says so at the top of its answer key. If the final key changes an answer, the paper is updated to match. Where the commission cancelled a question or awarded grace marks, the paper says so rather than quietly printing one answer.
