Consider the following statements regarding the special provisions of the States of India made by the Constitution : (i) Article 371C provides for the special provisions for the State of Assam. Under this Article, the President of India is empowered to provide for the creation of committee of the Assam Legislative Assembly consisting of members elected from Tribal Areas of the State and such other members as he/she may specify.
