Classified against Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, Notification No. 16/2022 (Advertisement No. 620, dated 21.07.2022) inviting applications for Combined Civil Services Examination-I (Group-I Services), Annexure-I: "Combined Civil Services -I Examination (Group - I Services), Syllabus for Preliminary Examination, General Studies (Degree Standard), Topics for Objective Type, SUBJECT CODE: 003" (Units I-X). This is the exact notification whose Preliminary Examination was held on 30.10.2022 (per the notification's own "Important Dates" table) and whose answer key is the source of the merged question data (pdf_filename: 2022_16_CCS1P_2022_TENTATIVE_ANSKEY.pdf). Para 10(B)(vi) of the notification states verbatim: "The syllabus for both the Preliminary Examination and Main Written Examination are available in the Commission's Website at 'www.tnpsc.gov.in' and also in the Annexure-I of this notification" -- i.e. TNPSC embedded the governing syllabus directly inside the recruitment notification for this cycle, removing any doubt about which syllabus version applies.
