Classified against Government of Meghalaya, Personnel & A.R. (A) Department, NOTIFICATION No. PER.6/97/225, dated Shillong the 11th August 2025, issued under sub-rule (2) of Rule 6 of the Meghalaya Civil Service (MCS) Rules, 1975, prescribing "the syllabus and pattern of examination" for the Meghalaya Civil Service Examination, "in supersession of the syllabus approved by the Cabinet on the 8th March, 2017." Section II.A ("Preliminary Examination") gives Paper-I (200 marks, objective type) as eight numbered heads (i)-(viii); Paper-II is the qualifying CSAT-type paper and carries no question in this dataset (the source file is exclusively Paper-I/Part A).
