Where this paper and its answers come from

SSC does not publish CGL question papers or a public answer key. From 2025 the candidate response sheet prints every question and option as a picture, so the text here is transcribed from those pictures for this shift and checked against them independently; where the layout carries meaning, the picture is shown as well. Each answer is the key SSC colour-marked on that sheet. SSC released a tentative key for challenge and later its final one, both only to candidates behind a login, and the sheet does not say which of the two it carries. Correct — C. The Memorandum of Association for the BIMSTEC Technology Transfer Facility (TTF) was signed by the member countries at the 5th BIMSTEC Summit, held at Colombo, Sri Lanka, on 30 March 2022.

Why the others are wrong

Third Summit — The third summit met at Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar, in March 2014, eight years before the TTF agreement was signed at Colombo.

Fourth Summit — The fourth summit was held at Kathmandu, Nepal, in August 2018. The TTF agreement came at the next summit, in Colombo in 2022.

Sixth Summit — The sixth summit met at Bangkok in April 2025, three years after the TTF agreement had been signed at the fifth.

Concept

BIMSTEC, the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation, has seven members: Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

The fifth summit, hosted by Sri Lanka in virtual format on 30 March 2022, adopted the BIMSTEC Charter. The TTF agreement signed there set up a facility in Colombo to coordinate technology transfer among member states.

Sri Lanka, which hosts the facility, also leads BIMSTEC's science, technology and innovation sector.
