Why the others are wrong

Concept
Average = total ÷ number of values. Two rows of five days give 10 readings, so the divisor is 10.
Because each truck has the same number of readings, the overall average also equals the mean of the two truck averages: Truck1 averages 100 ÷ 5 = 20, Truck 2 averages 122 ÷ 5 = 24.4, and (20 + 24.4) ÷ 2 = 22.2.
The stem could also be read as the fuel both trucks use together per day: 222 ÷ 5 = 44.4 litres. That figure is not among the options, so the options settle the reading as the average per truck per day.
