Where this paper and its answers come from

SSC does not publish CGL question papers or a public answer key. From 2025 the candidate response sheet prints every question and option as a picture, so the text here is transcribed from those pictures for this shift and checked against them independently; where the layout carries meaning, the picture is shown as well. Each answer is the key SSC colour-marked on that sheet. SSC released a tentative key for challenge and later its final one, both only to candidates behind a login, and the sheet does not say which of the two it carries. Correct — A. The error is in part (1): a detailed feedback.

Feedback is an uncountable noun, like advice and information. It takes no a/an and no plural -s.

Repair: "The company needs detailed feedback from all departments" → option (a).

Why the others are wrong

(b)
(2) — from all departments is sound: all takes the plural departments, and from names where the feedback comes from. Nothing here needs repair.
(c)
(3) — before finalising puts the -ing form after the preposition before, and its agrees with the singular company. Finalising is the British spelling, not an error.
(d)
(4) — for the upcoming fiscal year is a correct time phrase: for marks the period the plan covers. The part is sound.

Concept

Uncountable nouns name a mass or an abstract idea rather than separate items. They take a singular verb, no a/an and no plural -s.

Nouns that behave this way include feedback, advice, information, luggage, furniture, equipment and evidence.

To count them, add a unit noun — a piece of advice, an item of luggage — or use some: some feedback.

The adjective is the disguise. Detailed describes the feedback but does not turn it into a countable noun, so the article still has to go.
