Where this paper and its answers come from

SSC does not publish CGL question papers or a public answer key. From 2025 the candidate response sheet prints every question and option as a picture, so the text here is transcribed from those pictures for this shift and checked against them independently; where the layout carries meaning, the picture is shown as well. Each answer is the key SSC colour-marked on that sheet. SSC released a tentative key for challenge and later its final one, both only to candidates behind a login, and the sheet does not say which of the two it carries. The solutions are written by UnlockIAS.

Why the others are wrong

Warangal — Warangal held its seminar on 16 Feb, four days after Patna's 12 Feb. Two days after lands on 14 Feb.

Jamshedpur — Jamshedpur is 13 Feb, one day after Patna. It is the next seminar in the run, which tempts anyone who stops at the first city after Patna.

Durgapur — Durgapur is 15 Feb, three days after Patna. Two days after 12 Feb is 14 Feb.

Concept

A date-sequence item scatters the facts so you have to rebuild the order. With one seminar a day from 11 to 18 Feb, eight cities fill eight days:
11 Raipur, 12 Patna, 13 Jamshedpur, 14 Rourkela
15 Durgapur, 16 Warangal, 17 Tiruchirappalli, 18 Calicut

'Exactly two days after' means the date plus 2. From Patna's 12 Feb that is 14 Feb.

The printed list runs out of date order, with Calicut (18 Feb) first, and has no comma between the Rourkela and Jamshedpur entries. Neither affects the answer.

Here SSC prints a schedule out of order and asks for the city a fixed number of days from a named one. Sorting the list first turns it into a single addition.
