Where this paper and its answers come from

SSC does not publish CGL question papers or a public answer key. From 2025 the candidate response sheet prints every question and option as a picture, so the text here is transcribed from those pictures for this shift and checked against them independently; where the layout carries meaning, the picture is shown as well. Each answer is the key SSC colour-marked on that sheet. SSC released a tentative key for challenge and later its final one, both only to candidates behind a login, and the sheet does not say which of the two it carries. Correct — A. Garia Puja is a festival of Tripura's tribal communities in honour of Garia, the deity of livestock and wealth.

The Tripura government's Department of Information and Cultural Affairs puts it in the question's own words: 'The performance of the Garia Carnival is in agreement to the Ochai instructions.' The Ochai is the priest → option (a).

Why the others are wrong

Lama — Lama is a title in Tibetan Buddhism for a realised teacher of the Dharma. Garia Puja is a tribal rite of Tripura, and its guide is the Ochai.

Ojha — Ojha is a near-spelling trap. In some usage the word means a shaman or traditional healer, but Tripura's account of Garia Puja names the Ochai.
(d)
Dolo — Dolo is not the title Tripura's own account of the festival uses. That account names the Ochai as the one whose instructions the carnival follows.

Concept

Garia Puja lasts seven days in the month of Baisakh (April). A bamboo pole stands for Garia and is worshipped with flowers and garlands.

Offerings include cotton thread, rice, rice beer, eggs and a fowl chick, and a fowl is sacrificed before the deity. The rites follow the Ochai, and children drum, sing and dance before Garia.

Sources differ on the start date. The Tripura government's page gives the seventh day of Baisakh, while other accounts put it at the start of the month, so the month is the safe fact to carry.
