Where this paper and its answers come from

SSC does not publish CGL question papers or a public answer key. From 2025 the candidate response sheet prints every question and option as a picture, so the text here is transcribed from those pictures for this shift and checked against them independently; where the layout carries meaning, the picture is shown as well. Each answer is the key SSC colour-marked on that sheet. SSC released a tentative key for challenge and later its final one, both only to candidates behind a login, and the sheet does not say which of the two it carries. Correct — D. The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports launched the Games' mascot and logo on 30 January 2024. Its press release says the mascot 'is a snow leopard. It has been named Sheen-e She or Shan in Ladakh region.'

The snow leopard was chosen in keeping with the tradition and biodiversity of the region → option (d).

Concept

The Khelo India Winter Games 2024 were the fourth edition, held in two parts: Leh, Ladakh, from 2 to 6 February, and Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir, from 21 to 25 February.

The Ladakh leg was the first time the Winter Games came to the Union Territory. The logo carries the Indian tricolour and a Dharmachakra on a hilltop in Chanspa, Leh.
