Where this paper and its answers come from

SSC does not publish CGL question papers or a public answer key. From 2025 the candidate response sheet prints every question and option as a picture, so the text here is transcribed from those pictures for this shift and checked against them independently; where the layout carries meaning, the picture is shown as well. Concept

Ghoomar is a traditional folk dance of Rajasthan, performed chiefly by veiled women in flowing skirts called ghaghara, who twirl in circles.

It was performed by the Bhil tribe in worship of the goddess Saraswati and later embraced by the Rajputs.

It is danced at weddings, festivals and religious occasions, and custom expects a newly married bride to dance Ghoomar on arriving at her marital home.

The stem does not say who made the list. What the July 2013 reports describe is an international travel website's top ten, not an award from a cultural body such as UNESCO.
