Which of the following dynasties minted the "Dehliwal" coins in Delhi?

Correct — B. NCERT's Class 7 history text says Delhi became an important commercial centre under the Tomaras and the Chauhans, and that coins minted there, called dehliwal, had a wide circulation.

The Tomaras are the dynasty from that account on this list: option (b). Their successors, the Chauhans of Ajmer, are not offered.

Before the Delhi Sultanate, Delhi was the capital of the Tomara Rajputs. NCERT says the Chauhans (Chahamanas) of Ajmer defeated them in the middle of the twelfth century.

Under these two dynasties Delhi became a trading city. Rich Jaina merchants lived there and built temples, and its coins, the dehliwal, circulated widely.
