Where this paper and its answers come from

SSC does not publish CGL question papers or a public answer key. From 2025 the candidate response sheet prints every question and option as a picture, so the text here is transcribed from those pictures for this shift and checked against them independently; where the layout carries meaning, the picture is shown as well. Each answer is the key SSC colour-marked on that sheet. Correct — C. On 9 July 2025, in Windhoek, Namibia's President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah conferred the Order of the Most Ancient Welwitschia Mirabilis, Namibia's highest civilian award, on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

It came on his first visit to Namibia, the same day he addressed the Namibian Parliament → option (c).

Concept

The Order of the Most Ancient Welwitschia Mirabilis was established in 1995, five years after Namibia's independence in 1990. It takes its name from the Welwitschia mirabilis, a desert plant.

Modi received it on a visit that also included talks with President Nandi-Ndaitwah and an address to Namibia's Parliament.

The day before, on 8 July 2025, Brazil had given him its own highest honour.

India and Namibia also share Project Cheetah: eight cheetahs from Namibia were brought to Kuno National Park, Madhya Pradesh, on 17 September 2022.
