Why

Correct — B. The Ghadar Party was formed in 1913 among Punjabi immigrants on the American west coast, and its headquarters, the Yugantar Ashram, was in San Francisco.

Sohan Singh Bhakna was its first president and Lala Har Dayal its secretary. Its weekly paper, Ghadar, gave the party its name — the word means revolt.

It called on Indians abroad to return home and rise against British rule, and that is the movement option (b) names.

Why the others are wrong

Khilafat Committee — The Khilafat Committee was formed in India in 1919 over the fate of the Ottoman Caliph, and worked with the Congress on non-cooperation. Nothing about it is American.

Swaraj Party — The Swaraj Party was founded in 1923 by C. R. Das and Motilal Nehru to contest the legislative councils from within. It was an Indian breakaway from the Congress.
(d)
Hindustan Socialist Republican Association — The Hindustan Socialist Republican Association took that name in Delhi in 1928, when the earlier Hindustan Republican Association added socialist to its title. Its work was in north India.

Ghadar Party — San Francisco. India House — London, under Shyamji Krishna Varma. The Berlin Committee, in wartime Germany. Bhikaji Cama unfurled a version of an Indian flag at Stuttgart in 1907.

The Ghadar movement peaked in a plan to raise a mutiny in India during the First World War. It was pre-empted by the authorities, and the Lahore Conspiracy trials followed.
