Why

Correct - C. Ibrahim Lodi was the last Sultan of Delhi. Babur defeated and killed him at the First Battle of Panipat in 1526, which ended the Lodi dynasty - the fifth and last of the Sultanate's dynasties - and began Mughal rule in north India.

Every other name in the list ruled while the Sultanate still had dynasties to come, so the end-point the stem asks for is option (c).

Why the others are wrong

(a)
Sikandar Lodi — Sikandar Lodi was Ibrahim's father and predecessor. He founded Agra and moved his capital there, but the dynasty outlived him by one reign - his son's.
(b)
Firoz Shah Tughlaq — Firoz Shah Tughlaq belonged to the Tughlaq dynasty, after which the Sayyids and then the Lodis still ruled Delhi. He died more than a century before the Sultanate ended.
(d)
Muhammad Bin Tughlaq — Muhammad bin Tughlaq, remembered for the Daulatabad capital shift and the token currency, also ruled in the Tughlaq period. His reign is famous, which is exactly why it is the wrong instinct here.

Concept

The Delhi Sultanate ran through five dynasties in roughly 320 years: Mamluk (Slave), Khalji, Tughlaq, Sayyid and Lodi.

The Lodis were its only Afghan dynasty, founded by Bahlul Lodi, extended by Sikandar Lodi and ended by Ibrahim Lodi.

Ibrahim's nobles were in open revolt when Daulat Khan Lodi, governor of Punjab, invited Babur in. Panipat in 1526 therefore closed one political order and opened another on the same field.
