Why

Correct - D. The Durand Cup is football, not cricket. First played in 1888 at Shimla and named after Sir Mortimer Durand, then Foreign Secretary of British India, it is India's oldest football tournament.

The other three are all BCCI domestic cricket competitions - Ranji and Duleep in the first-class format, Deodhar in the one-day format - so the one that breaks the set is option (d).

Why the others are wrong

Duleep Trophy — The Duleep Trophy is first-class cricket, named after Kumar Shri Duleepsinhji and played for years on a zonal format. It sits squarely inside Indian domestic cricket.

Deodhar Trophy — The Deodhar Trophy is a domestic limited-overs competition named after D. B. Deodhar. Its one-day format, not its subject, is what separates it from the Ranji and Duleep trophies.
(c)
Ranji Trophy — The Ranji Trophy is India's premier first-class domestic championship, begun in the 1934-35 season and named after Ranjitsinhji. It is the most clearly cricketing name on the list.
