Correct — D. The Discovery of India was written by Jawaharlal Nehru, not by Subhas Chandra Bose, so this is the incorrect pair the stem is hunting.

Nehru wrote it in 1944 while imprisoned in Ahmednagar Fort, and it was published in 1946. The book is his long argument about India's civilisational continuity.

Bose's own book is The Indian Struggle, his account of the national movement — which is the pairing the other half of this corpus tests.

Concept
