Between then and this examination it had conducted five general elections to the panchayats — held in 1994-95, 2000, 2005, 2010 and 2014-15. The sixth general panchayat election came only in 2022, after this paper.

Why the other options are wrong — (a) Three general elections had already been completed by around 2005; by the time of this paper the count had reached five.  (b) Undercounts by one — the fifth panchayat general election (2014-15) was already over before this 2019 paper.
