Where this paper and its answers come from

SSC does not publish CGL question papers or a public answer key. From 2025 the candidate response sheet prints every question and option as a picture, so the text here is transcribed from those pictures for this shift and checked against them independently; where the layout carries meaning, the picture is shown as well. Each answer is the key SSC colour-marked on that sheet. SSC released a tentative key for challenge and later its final one, both only to candidates behind a login, and the sheet does not say which of the two it carries. The solutions are written by UnlockIAS.

Why the others are wrong

(d)
#301, Galaxy Towers, Hinu, Ranchi, Jharkhand - 834002 — Hinu misspells the locality Hinoo. Every other part matches, so a letter-by-letter check of the place name is what catches it.

Concept

Address matching is a proof-reading task, not a reading one. The eye reads Hinu and Hinoo as the same place, and Tower and Towers as the same building, because it reads for sense.

Split the original at its commas and check each part against the same part of each option. An option that fails any part is out, however close the rest is.

The three wrong copies hide one change each: a dropped #, a dropped s, and oo shortened to u.

The printed original runs some parts together (Address:#301, Towers,Hinoo and Ranchi,Jharkhand). All four options space them alike, so spacing cannot decide it.

Key facts

A symbol such as # is part of the address: 301 is not the same text as #301.
Tower and Towers differ by one letter and are different text.
