Where this paper and its answers come from

SSC does not publish CGL question papers or a public answer key. From 2025 the candidate response sheet prints every question and option as a picture, so the text here is transcribed from those pictures for this shift and checked against them independently; where the layout carries meaning, the picture is shown as well. Each answer is the key SSC colour-marked on that sheet. SSC released a tentative key for challenge and later its final one, both only to candidates behind a login, and the sheet does not say which of the two it carries. Why

Correct — A. The four sentences are stages of one campaign analysis, so put them in the order the work happens.

Sentence 1 is the outcome: a strategy framed 'based on outreach results' can come only after those results exist, so it goes last. No other option ends with 1.

The rest runs in working order: interactions collected (3), demographic metrics tracked (2), users segmented by age and behavior (4), strategy framed (1) → option (a).

Why the others are wrong

Concept

Some jumbles carry no pronouns or connectors — every sentence here names its own subject. Order them by process logic instead: what must exist before each step can happen.

Here that means data before analysis, and analysis before a strategy based on its results. 'Based on' is a dependency marker: whatever a step rests on must already be in place.

Segmenting users 'by age and behavior' draws on both earlier steps — age is a demographic metric (2), behavior comes from the interactions (3).

Start with the sentence whose position is least negotiable. Here it is the outcome, sentence 1, and fixing it last eliminates three options at once.

Common traps

Starting with sentence 4 because analysts sound like the paragraph's subject — nothing can be segmented before data is collected.
Placing the strategy early because a plan sounds like an opening — this one is framed 'based on outreach results', so it follows them.
