Why

Correct — A. Tarak Nath Das and G.D. Kumar set up the United India House at Seattle in 1910, as a hostel and meeting point for Indian students and workers on the American west coast.

Both men had already been active in Vancouver, where Das brought out the nationalist paper Free Hindustan in 1908.

Seattle became one of the west-coast centres of Indian revolutionary work that fed into the Ghadar Party of 1913, which makes option (a) the answer.

Why the others are wrong

Shyamji Krishna Varma — Shyamji Krishna Varma founded India House — in London in 1905, not Seattle. The near-identical name is the whole trap in this item.

VD Savarkar and Ganesh — V.D. Savarkar worked out of India House in London, and with his brother Ganesh ran Abhinav Bharat from Nashik. Neither brother was in the United States.

Khudiram Bose and Prafulla Chaki — Khudiram Bose and Prafulla Chaki belong to the Muzaffarpur bombing of 1908. Chaki shot himself and Bose was hanged that same year, so neither could found anything in 1910.

Fix each city to its founder and these questions stop being guesswork.

Tarak Nath Das is also written Taraknath Das, and G.D. Kumar as Guran Ditta Kumar — worth knowing if you go looking for them, because the paper uses only the short forms.
