Correct — B. The platform is the Farmers' Portal at farmer.gov.in, run by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.

It is a single-window site: seeds, fertilisers, pesticides, farm machinery and dealers, crop insurance, storage, market prices, extension activities and scheme details, with block-level information on an interactive map.

The portal is named for the user, not for the activity or the land, which is why the blank takes option (b).

Why the others are wrong

(a)
Agricultural — Agricultural names the sector rather than the person. The central information platform for farmers is not called by the name of the sector, and its address is farmer.gov.in.

Cultivation — Cultivation names the activity. The portal's identity is built around the farmer as the person seeking information, which is what the domain name itself records.
(d)
Cropland — Cropland names the land. Land and crop records are maintained by state revenue departments, not by this central information portal.

Concept

The Farmers' Portal is one of a family of central agriculture platforms, each with a different job. This one is for information, mKisan at mkisan.gov.in pushes SMS advisories to registered farmers, and eNAM is the electronic national agriculture market for trading produce.

Knowing which platform does what is the useful takeaway: the stem describes a job, and you match the job to the name.

The stem prints famers where it means farmers. That is SSC's own text as it appears on the response sheet, and it does not affect the answer.

Common traps

Reading the blank as an adjective about farming leads straight to Agricultural or Cultivation, when the portal is named after its user.
The Farmers' Portal is for information, while eNAM is for trading and mKisan for SMS advisories.
The typo famers in the stem is in the paper itself and is not a clue to anything.
