Correct — C. The first Employment Working Group (EWG) meeting of India's G20 presidency was held at Jodhpur, Rajasthan, from 2 to 4 February 2023.

It was hosted by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, which anchors this working group for India, and it set three themes for the year: global skill gaps, the gig and platform economy, and social protection.

India's presidency spread its meetings across many cities, so the examinable fact is the pairing itself — first EWG meeting to Jodhpur, which is option (c).

Why the others are wrong

Concept

The G20's substantive work is done in working groups that meet through the presidency year and send recommendations up to the leaders' summit.

The Employment Working Group sits in the Sherpa track and is run in India by the Ministry of Labour and Employment. Under the 2023 presidency it worked on three thematic areas: addressing global skill gaps, the gig and platform economy, and social protection with sustainable financing of social security.

India held the presidency through 2023, with the leaders' summit in New Delhi in September.
