Correct — B. Australia's all-rounder Ashleigh Gardner was named Player of the Match in the semi-final against India at Newlands, Cape Town, in February 2023.

Australia won that semi-final by five runs and went on to beat South Africa in the final at the same ground. The award went to a player on the winning side, which is where match awards almost always land. Option (b).
