Correct — C. India owns the seven titles the question counts.

India has won the ACC Women's Asia Cup in 2004, 2005-06, 2006, 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2022 — a run no other side in the competition has matched.

Two editions have gone elsewhere. Bangladesh took the 2018 final in Kuala Lumpur, and Sri Lanka won at Dambulla in July 2024.

Why the others are wrong

Pakistan — Pakistan has never won the Women's Asia Cup. It has played in the tournament from the early editions and hosted the 2005-06 staging, without lifting the trophy.

Bangladesh — Bangladesh's single title came in 2018, when it beat India in the final in Kuala Lumpur. One win is not seven, and it remains the country's lone Women's Asia Cup.

Concept

This kind of sports question turns on a tally — how many titles, which country, which year — rather than on the cricket.

The Women's Asia Cup is run by the Asian Cricket Council and has been played since 2004, in the 50-over format at first and as T20 in the later editions.

India dominated it for the tournament's first decade and a half, which is why the seven-title figure is a stock fact. The two upsets, Bangladesh in 2018 and Sri Lanka in 2024, are what a setter uses to build the wrong options.

Sri Lanka's July 2024 win was that country's first, so it leaves India's tally where it was: seven, whichever side of that final the question was written on.
