Correct — D, the Dandi March by Mahatma Gandhi. On the morning of 6 April 1930 Gandhi picked up a lump of natural salt from the shore at Dandi and broke the British salt law, the act that formally launched the Civil Disobedience Movement. The march had set out from Sabarmati Ashram near Ahmedabad on 12 March 1930 with 78 chosen satyagrahis and covered roughly 385 km (about 240 miles) to the coastal village of Dandi in Gujarat, reaching it on 5 April.

Why the other options are wrong — (a) Quit India belongs to 1942 — the Congress passed the resolution at Bombay on 8 August 1942 and the movement erupted from 9 August, twelve years after Dandi.  (b) Curzon's partition of Bengal was announced in July 1905 and took effect on 16 October 1905; it was annulled in 1911. Nothing about it falls in 1930.
