The first Mongol incursion reached India in 1221 during Iltutmish’s time, well before Jalāl-ud-dīn Khaljī (r. 1290-96), so statement 1 is wrong. In 1303, under ʿAlā-ud-dīn Khaljī, a Mongol army besieged Delhi—statement 2 is correct. Although the Mongols raided frontier towns again in 1327, Muḥammad bin Tughlaq did not permanently lose territory; statement 3 is incorrect. Hence only statement 2 is correct.
