A house-wife has 1000 ml of a mixture containing milk and water in the ratio 3 : 1. She adds 250 ml of another mixture of milk and water in the ratio 3 : 2. She then removes 250 ml of the combined mixture to make curd. How much pure milk remains in the mixture that is left?
